Michael Ault is one of the preeminent club operators in the world with almost 25 sucessful years in the nightlife industry. In that time, he has designed, built, and operated more than thirty nightclubs in competitive markets such as New York, the Hamptons, Miami Beach, Los Angeles, Aspen, Bermuda, Sao Paulo, and Marbella. His clubs quickly rise to fame in each market in which they operate and are recognized as top clubs around the world. Michael Ault’s most recent Miami-area venture, Chaos, remains one of South Beach’s most infamous venues. Ocean Drive Magazine called Chaos “one of the all-time fun clubs in South Beach history.” Sean Saladino, current owner of South Beach hotspot RokBar recalls, “Chaos was out of control… To this day, I’ve never seen a club replicate that energy on a continual basis.”
Prior to his role as owner and operator, Ault spent over a decade promoting such venues as Studio 54, Area, The Tunnel, Maxime’s, The Palladium, Regine’s, Club A, Mars, Zulu and Tavern on the Green. Michael’s compelling promotional prowess continues to serve as the key ingredient in attracting the country’s trendy, beautiful, rich and famous.
Michael Ault is generally credited with creating the international lounge frenzy with his launch of New York’s famed SpyBar during the Fall of 1995. Since then, he has literally dominated the industry’s lounge market with Chaos Soho, Chaos South Beach, Chaos Sao Paulo, Pangaea, and Pangaea Marbella. In particular, Chaos South Beach and Pangaea were regarded as the nation’s top lounges for years.
